JUSTIN Bieber’s team has changed dramatically in recent months as he’s cut ties with close associates and even lost his longtime personal assistant, sources have revealed.
Justin, 30, had worked with assistant Mateo Caldas, who was also an estate manager, since 2018 – but no more.
The U.S. Sun has learned Mateo has now moved on and is looking to focus more on his acting career after previously winning awards – amid other changes in Bieber’s team.
Mateo declined to comment on his time working with Bieber and leaving his role.
The star’s rep recently hit back at worrying rumors Justin’s health has declined and that he’s using hard drugs, telling TMZ he’s in “one of the best places in his life.”
They said the past year has been “very transformative for him as he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
Justin and Hailey welcomed their son, Jack Blues, into the world in August last year and have since been navigating life as new parents.
An insider told The U.S. Sun his team is “tighter than ever” since he parted ways with former manager Scooter Braun and became a new dad to baby Jack.
“Justin’s life has changed a lot and he wants to be careful who he has around him on a day-to-day basis, he sometimes finds it hard to trust,” they said.
“He’s also working a lot less with bodyguards and drivers, preferring to drive him and Hailey himself on outings.
“Everyone wishes him well and they are there if he needs them.”
The U.S. Sun can confirm he has not been pictured with regular bodyguards Keith Gibbs and Eric Johnson in months.

Fans also noticed he has unfollowed security guard Kenny Hamilton who has since spoken of his shock at the move.
A fan reportedly sent Kenny a direct message and asked why Justin had removed him.
He allegedly responded, “Really have no idea. Kinda came out of nowhere. I’ve been in my own world working and being a dad. Wish him the best tho. Always will love and support him. He knows I’m always here whenever he needs or want to talk.”
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Bieber’s team and his former bodyguards for comment but did not hear back.

He has also removed other key team members, including Ryan Good, the creative director of his streetwear brand, Drew House.
Justin stopped promoting the line months ago and is now focusing on trying to launch his label, SKYLRK, with his longtime pal and business partner Neima Khaila.
However, documents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office show they requested an extension to file a statement of use for each of their three trademarks.
Ryan has not commented on their relationship but continues to promote Drew House, with the clothing still available online.
Bieber has also overhauled his financial management team, parting ways with controversial business manager Lou Taylor and her company, TriStar.

He has now hired Edward White, who has worked with the likes of Johnny Depp.
The move came after TMZ reported Bieber felt betrayed by TriStar and that his finances were mismanaged for years, which they denied.
Bieber is still believed to have trusted people around him, despite his team being smaller, including a second estate manager and a house coordinator.

However, sources recently told The U.S. Sun that those close to him are tired of him posting about being high and acting like a “rebellious teenager” when he’s now a father.
“It’s concerning,” one source admitted.
“He is 30 years old now; he’s an adult and should be taking better care of himself. He knows everyone scrutinizes him.”
Justin last posted an odd series of photos on Instagram on Monday, showing him on an electric bike smoking a bong with his hood hiding his face.
One fan wrote underneath, “You’re a new father, something you’ve wanted. Set a better example for your son.”
But others defended him, with one writing, “He’s just smoking some weed, everyone needs to chill tf out lol.”
