According to reports, on Friday, July 4, 2025, a disastrous flash flood occurred in Texas Hill Country, causing many fatalities and missing persons. At first, it was said that nine children were among the minimum of 27 fatalities. Later reports, however, on Saturday, July 5, 2025
Tragically, at least 32 individuals, including 14 children, have died as a result of devastating flash floods in the Texas Hill Country. This comes after a disastrous incident in which the Guadalupe River in Kerrville saw a sharp surge. There had previously been 27 fatalities.
Searches are still going on as of Saturday night, July 5th, especially for the 27 youngsters who are still missing from Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp along the Guadalupe River. Officials have confirmed that all people have been accounted for in about eighteen other camps in the area.
Homes and cars were washed away as the swiftly rising waves increased dramatically and quickly. Rescuers are searching for victims and rescuing stranded people using drones, boats, and helicopters.
